Nottinghamshire Judo Invests in Coaches

In 2014 Nottinghamshire Judo would like to invest more in the coaches that run our clubs and support our events in Nottinghamshire. As you may be aware as of next year the revalidation criteria has changed -

Level 1 Coach
During the three-year revalidation period the coach is required to attend and fully participate in three (3) revalidation activities – the three activities must be made up of a combination of two level 1 specific modules and one generic module.

Level 2 Coach
During the three-year revalidation period the coach is required to attend and fully participate in four (4) revalidation activities – the four activities must be made up of a combination of level 2 specific modules and 2 generic modules.

Level 3 Coach During the six-year revalidation period the coach is required to attend and fully participate in six (6) revalidation activities – the six activities must be made up of a combination of 2 level 3 specific modules and 4 generic modules.

We would like to support our coaches by funding their attendance at Nottinghamshire based revalidation events, the first of which is Matside 1 (for level 1's) and Matside 2 (for levels 2 and 3) both being held at Long Eaton Judo Club on Sunday 16 February 2014.

If you are a coach that lives or coaches at a club based in Nottinghamshire and would like our support then please complete an application from (which can be downloaded from one of the links below) and then send it to Nottinghamshire Judo, 142 Wendover Drive, Aspley, Nottingham. NG8 5JN before Friday 20 December, we will then send all the forms to the BJA along with the payment.
